 报告摘要:In this talk, we review briefly two well-known models for hybrid systems. Then, a new possible approach is proposed based on the concept of time scale. The comparison of different models is given through several interesting examples. Possible research directions are motioned accordingly.

 报告摘要:Several basic concepts and results related to time scale are proposed in this talk. Then, fundamental stability results are presented employing Lyapunov like functions. A novel concept: output-persistence-of-excitation is introduced based on the framework of time scale for hybrid systems. Possible applications are proposed. Future development is also discussed briefly. 

 

报告人简介:Dr. T. C. Lee received the M.S. degree in mathematics and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1990 and 1995, respectively. In August 1997, he joined the Minghsin University of Science and Technology at Hsinchu as an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering, and since 2005 he has been a Professor. Now he is the dean of engineering school. He is a senior member of IEEE. He has published 5 regular papers on IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control and 2 regular papers on IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology. One of them has been cited over 300 times (according to the record of Google). His main research interests are stability theory, tracking control of nonholonomic systems, and robot control.
