报告摘要：

      In this talk, I will discuss why population health management software platform is important to facilitate the transformation of healthcare industry. How Microsoft Amalga platform is evolved into Caradigm intelligent system, and what is the main focus in next generation healthcare population health platform. It will also discuss how interoperability plays an important role in population health system, using Caradigm Open Exchange as example.  

报告人简介：

    Dr. Zhaolong Zhang has near 30 years’ experience in both chemical research at academic

institutions and product design/development in software industry. His chemical research

focuses on the areas of heterogeneous catalysis, surface science and chemical kinetics,

especially in selective oxidation of hydrocarbon. Recent years his activities focus more on

software design and development of next generation of clouding platform for health industry,

including interoperability for population health, HL7 and FHIR pipelines, health terminology,

medical imaging and content store/cache management. He is specially interested in

collaborative chemical research aided by clouding technology. Dr. Zhang is also the

founders and managing directors of two companies. He has received multiple industrial

awards, published over 30 papers in international referred journals and he is holder of four

patents.
